Lake Nagambie Markets

Lake Nagambie has a number of regional Markets that can be very entertaining. You’ll see regional business offering locally made goods, items direct from the farms and local entertainment.

The Nagambie Community Market is held on the first Saturday of the month Blaney Reserve on the lake: 8.30am – 1pm. The market offers children’s activities, live music, coffee carts, fresh produce, plants, cakes, sausage sizzles, artists, well-being practioners and quality collectables. Avenel Produce & Craft Market – Second Sunday of every month: Queen St Avenel: 8.30am – 1pmGrow it, bake it, make it! The Market has always prided itself on being a unique event in the region. Stall holders are asked to adhere to our core philosophy of supporting solely locally produced, hand-made or home grown/baked goodies. Many stalls have been with the Market since it was initiated by the historic Harvest Homestead and through its consolidation at WB Gadds cosy antique/clothing store. Violet Town Market – Second Sat of every month: The Rec Reserve: 8:30am – 1pm The market is organised by a sub committee of the Violet Town Action Group Inc., a non-profit community organisation, with all funds raised by the market used for the publication and distribution of the Village Voice community newsletter and for other community facilities and activities.
